Most moisture problems are
seen visually as spot whitening or darkening, lifting, cracking, spalling,
bubbling, blistering, oozing, of leaking.Most manufactures of floor products
specify 3-5 pounds of water per 1000 sf within a 24 hour period, and a pH not to
exceed 9. Concrete slabs with a moisture drive emission in excess of 20 pounds
and pH levels of 14 can be treated to acceptable levels for flooring.
By installing a one coat system as shown in the pictures most moisture problems
can be resolved, and floor coverings or an epoxy floor systems can be installed
over this coating.
